Click here for the full list We also have 4 FREE curated book lists to choose from below. Each book list includes: Bible, Science, History, Biography, Literature, Geography, Logic & Civics The 4 lists below are sufficient for ANY high school year for grades 9-12. A very motivated 7th or 8th grader with plans to CLEP for college credit in the upper High School years could start with the Cycle 1 booklist. These books are meant to be read a little at a time and over a long period of time. This is intentional. “Slow Reading” or reading a book at a slow & guided pace, over an extended period of time, gives the student time to assimilate ideas and make connections organically, creating the holistic mind, body, spirit education we want for them! Hello.
ReplyDeleteI’ve sent four other emails between July 20 and September 2, and I promise you that I am a legitimate inquirer. I am a homeschool mom, and I’m still waiting for a reply. In fact, I’d really appreciate a response in the next few days if at all possible.
My original query contained background information about my reason for writing; please refer to that if you would like. For the sake of brevity today, though, I will simply copy my original questions below. Back when I sent my first email, I perused your website so I know these questions are relevant for homeschoolers who might consider using what you offer:
1. Have you already altered any of your materials for the purpose of aligning with the Common Core Standards (CCS)/Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)/College, Career and Civic Life Framework (C3)? If so, which materials? And what, specifically, have you changed?
2. Do you have future plans to alter your materials – in large or small ways – in order to align with the CCS/NGSS/C3? If so, which materials and what changes do you plan to make? When will you make the changes?
3. Have you chosen to advertise any correlations between your materials and the CCS/NGSS/C3 even if you haven’t changed any content in the process?
4. Do you incorporate materials from other vendors into your program? If so, which companies?
Thank you very much for your help.
Most sincerely,
Tina Hollenbeck
